The photograph by Brady is of Mary Todd Lincoln, another looks like General Grant with a cigar in his mouth, two of R. Tyler Col. of the CT Volunteer Army, one is signed the other is not. The other appear to be of generals and officers. The photographs stamps on the reverse are R. W Addis 308 Penna Avenue Washington DC, Bennett no 69 King Street Alexandria, Va, W. F. Gurrows Successor to Fundy and Williams No 158 Main Street Middletown CT, J. Jones Photographer Va.F. M. V. Doughty photographer Winsted CT. The original album holds twelve carte de visite photograph but on eleven came with the set. This just found in a CT Church benefit auction, it was donated by a local CT family.
